What does the process look like?
Client process
01. Kick-Off Consultation
We kickoff with a detailed consultation call to discuss your business goals, target audience, branding requirements, and overall vision for your new visual identity. This allows me, as your freelance graphic designer, to gain clarity on the project scope.
02. Proposal & Planning
After our call, I'll send over a detailed project proposal for you to review and sign off on. This covers the agreed deliverables, costs, and terms. Once approved, I'll share the contract, briefing template, and invoice for the 50% deposit to get started.
03. Research & Concept Development
With the signed contract, deposit, and creative brief in hand, I dive into researching your industry, competitors, and target market. This in-depth research guides the creation of unique logo concepts and overall branding direction ideas.
04. Initial Presentation
Within 2-3 weeks, I'll be ready to present my initial logo designs and branding concepts. In this review session, I'll walk through each step of my creative process, explaining the strategic thinking behind the visual identity approaches.
05. Refinement & Delivery
After you've had time to digest the presentation, we'll go through any feedback or refinement requests you may have. Depending on the scope of changes, we may iterate via email or schedule an additional meeting. Once finalized, I'll deliver the completed logo files, brand style guide, and all branded asset variants.
06. Launch & Follow-Up
With the final logo, visual identity system, and branded materials in hand, you'll be ready for launch! I'll follow up a few months later to ensure you're getting full value from the new brand identity across your marketing efforts.

Quickly ideate and sketch multiple raw logo design concepts, allowing creativity to flow. Refine and highlight the strongest directions showing promise to pursue further as unique brand identity systems.

Develop 5-10 top logo design routes through detailed sketches and rough visuals. Experiment with typography, color palettes, and mocking up industry-specific branded asset examples.

The leading 2-3 brand identity concept finalists are vectorized and optimized digitally. Prepare a comprehensive presentation deck walking through the creative brandmark exploration and final branded identity system recommendation, elaborating on the strategic rationale.

After presenting concepts, incorporate feedback and make refinements until the final logo design, visual brand identity components, and applications are approved. Deliver print/digital-ready source files.
